Air type

Introducing a new visual language with Air Type, where lines do not confine space, but open it up. Character of the typeface: Featuring exceptionally thin (ultra-light / hairline) strokes with experimental, yet strictly geometric proportions. The characters are elongated; their stems and curves rest upon or rise from the horizon like architectural elements. The interlacing of letters (ligatures and overlaps) creates a unique rhythm within the text. The letters are like mist over the sea: simultaneously defined, yet translucent and ethereal. The organic texture of the teaser image amplifies the contrast of the digitally precise, sharp typographic lines.
